This study aims to improve student learning outcomes by contextual using the Snowball throwing model of history students in class XII IPS 2 at SMA Negeri 3 Magelang Even Semester 2019/2020 academic year. The method used is Classroom Action Research (CAR). research uses cycles which include planning, implementation, observation, and reflection activities. In this data sources come from observations, document texts, questionnaires, photos test. validity triangulation, consists triangulation methods, while analysis quantitative descriptive analysis. results indicate that application Throwing was developed with discussion models, oral question answer can outcomes. proven be able Constraints faced are a long time, not all material absorbed students, conditions situations must conducive.
